New Braunfels police release more information on kidnapping reports

From the New Braunfels Police Department:

In an effort to clear up any confusion concerning the two recent Aggravated Kidnapping reports, here are the details as we know them today:

  • The first reported incident happened a little after 1:30pm on Saturday, Jan. 16th, in the 800 block of West San Antonio street outside of the McKenna Event Center. The 35-year old male victim reported that a unknown male entered his vehicle, displayed a firearm, and instructed him to drive. They traveled a short distance to the I-35 frontage road and the suspect exited the vehicle and was last seen on foot running southbound towards Ruekle Road. No injuries were reported.
