Chancellor Lee Jackson says it’s not clear how much the Denton school may have to repay and how much time it might get to repay.
Jackson tells the Denton Record Chronicle (http://bit.ly/SY3ELD ) he believes state officials would agree to a settlement that doesn’t hurt the school’s educational mission. Results of an investigation by a consulting firm released Thursday don’t say if the was obtained deliberately or by mistake. Jackson says more investigating is needed.
The school’s annual budget is about $520 million.
