Central Texas man sentenced to federal prison for supporting terrorists

A 24-year-old Round Rock man who called himself a “jihadi” will spend 10 years in federal prison for attempting to provide material support and resources to terrorist groups, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Rahatul Ashikim Khan must also serve 10 years of supervised release, per the sentence handed down Friday in a federal court in Austin.
