Apostle Claver Kamau-Imani has secured sponsorship from Crosby Care International for his pro karting season and to start a community education initiative called #BlackBabiesMatter. Finalizing of the deal was on Tuesday June 8, 2021.
“The #BlackBabiesMatter campaign is in direct response to the Black Lives Matter political movement”, said Kamau-Imani. “Prominent pro athletes and leagues have advocated for BLM with zeal. I’m an opponent of the BLM social and political agenda and believe that there are more pressing issues facing the Black community than the false narrative that police officers are killing black people in ungodly rates.”
The #BlackBabiesMatter campaign’s purpose is to educate the public of the devastation that the abortion industry is achieving in the American black community. Abortion is the number one cause of death of black Americans at a rate of 1,500 abortions of black children per day.
Kamau-Imani said there’s an additional message of the campaign. “We want Black people to stop killing each other. The second cause of death of blacks in America is black-on-black crime”.
30 years ago, Kamau-Imani was a fully sponsored formula racing car driver. He’s making a comeback to motor sports in the LO206 class of kart racing and is a rookie competing in the Houston city karting championship known as the Greater Houston Racing Series (GHRS).
Kamau-Imani said that the kart’s new livery will be unveiled in a few weeks with #BlackBabiesMatter prominently displayed on all sides. His trademark gold helmet and his driving suit will also display the simple and clean logo design of the campaign.
The first #BBM community awareness event is already tentatively scheduled for July.
