Before Apostle Claver T. Kamau-Imani has officially declared his candidacy for Texas House District 138 in Houston, he has received one of the most coveted endorsements in Texas politics.
Today, Texas Right to Life PAC has announced it has awarded an uncontested endorsement of Kamau-Imani. The pro-life powerhouse organization will not be interviewing any other current, or potential candidates for the HD138 open seat.
Texas Right to Life PAC is the most influential, respected, and only trustworthy statewide pro-life political organization.  Kamau-Imani does not intend to seek the endorsement of any other statewide pro-life organizations.
“To say I’m humbled by this endorsement and announcement would be a gross understatement”, said Kamau-Imani.
“I have told Texas Right to Life that I have no plans to be a simple supporter of pro-life legislative initiatives.  If elected, I will be a leader of pro-life efforts.  My plan is to author and carry legislation that will do serious damage to the genocidal abortion industry.
“I want to see abortion outlawed in Texas, and those who perform abortions indicted and put on trial.
“I want to see death panels outlawed in Texas, and hospital board members and administrators to be held legally libel for employing the ’10-Day Rule’.”
Kamau-Imani has the long-held reputation of being a vociferous advocate for life throughout Texas and the nation.
“This endorsement, issued before I’ve even officially declared my candidacy, is a clear signal to the Pink Dome that the pro-life community has absolute confidence in my ability to advance the cause of life.  If elected, everyday I’ll be clothed in God’s armor and prepared to repel all munitions that the culture of death can fire.  I will be fully engaged to defend the lives of baby Texans.  I will be ready for the battles and leading the charge.”

For Immediate Release

October 10, 2019

In preparation and consideration of a potential run for the Texas House of Representives, Apostle Claver T. Kamau-Imani has formed a potent exploratory committee.

With the September 25th announcement by State Rep. Dwayne Bohac (R) that he would not seek re-election in 2020, House District 138 in west Houston is now an open seat.

“I’ve been a resident of HD138 since 1997.  I believe there can be no other candidate to enter this race that will know this district and its citizens better than me,” said Apostle Claver.

Apostle Claver is the founder, president and CEO of Founded in 2013, RER is the only 24/7 audio streaming media company that primarily covers Texas politics and news.  RER was created with an admitted bias toward liberty and Texas sovereignty.  Apostle Claver hosts a two-hour nightly political talk program.

The son of a community leader and political activist, Apostle Claver began his political activism at the age of 9 years old in his hometown of Beaumont, Texas.  Ordered by his parents, he began going door-to-door doing voter registration in predominantly black housing projects.  Apostle Claver has been a political activist for over 40 years.

Apostle Claver became a national personality when in July, 2009 his political action committee erected a billboard that declared “Martin Luther King, Jr. Was a Republican”.  The billboard was located at the MLK exit of Houston’s I-610 South Loop.

Outraged by the billboard’s message, and located in the heart of the black community (Sheila Jackson-Lee’s district), infamous black activist Quanell X and the New Black Panthers launched a protest and campaign to have the billboard removed.  The video of Apostle Claver crashing and taking over X’s press conference about the billboard went viral and the story was picked up by national media.

Apostle Claver responded to the outrage by erecting identical billboards in several Texas cities and around the United States in black neighborhoods — all of which drew local media coverage.

Apostle Claver has been called “the most important conservative voice in Texas”.  Liberty movement activists often refer to him by his nickname, “The Purifier”.  The nickname was given to him by former Speaker of the House Joe Straus in a 2012 campaign attack ad. So effective and influential as an activist for conservative values, the Straus forces produced the video against Apostle Claver although he was a private citizen.

Known for being a rabid defender of life, liberty, and prosperity, Apostle Claver aggressively advocates for the Texas GOP platform.  If a formal campaign for state representative is announced, it is expected that the central focus of his campaign will be the platform’s legislative priorities.

Documented by numerous videos and audio recordings, there are few who can match Apostle Claver in extemporaneous public speaking and the delivery of a long-form speech from the stage.

If Apostle Claver announces a formal campaign for HD138, he will immediately be considered the front runner and favorite to win the March, 2020 primary.  No declared or potential candidate will be able to surpass his name ID.

“One thing is certain.  HD138 and the Pink Dome are not in need of any political neophytes, or those with insufficient battle scars earned from the continuous fight for Texas liberty,” said Apostle Claver.

“The forming of this exploratory committee exhibits a diverse collection of influential and powerful conservative activists from the whole of Texas.  This will not merely be an in-district contest.  Saints and patriots from border to border in Texas are supporting this effort.  Because no matter where they reside, they know with all confidence that I share their liberty-driven, Jesus-ordained values.  They understand that there will be no compromise, and no surrender of those values.  Ever!”

During a hearing of the Texas House Culture, Recreation, and Tourism Committee on Tuesday, April 2, at the State Capitol, State Rep. Jarvis Johnson (D-Houston RER18) made the disgraceful declaration that the battle of the Alamo was for Texans to have slaves.

“…And, it was a battle for the independence of Texas,” said Johnson to a packed committee hearing room.  “The independence for Texans to own slaves.”

The committee was hearing HB1836 being laid out.  Authored and being championed by State Rep. Kyle Biedermann ((R-Fredericksburg RER91), HB1836 addresses the issue of the proposed moving of the Alamo cenotaph. Johnson’s comments were at the conclusion of hours of testimony on the bill with the majority of the testimony easily weighted toward those in favor of the bill, and Rep. Biedermann’s closing of bill layout.  HB1836 would put a halt to any action involving the cenotaph for two years.

During the hearing, attendees said Johnson showed very little interest in the testimony, constantly paid more attention to his mobile phone, and demonstrated the body language of anguish which is visible in the RERvideo.  At one point during Biedermann’s closing in which he is quoting from a letter penned by Col. William Travis and his voice is cracking under the influence of emotion, Johnson throws his face into his hands with a whence.

Attendees reported to RER that Johnson’s comments caused such injury that there were those in the committee room that shed tears, immediately.

At the beginning of his comments, Johnson “played” the audience by suggesting that he could be a possible supporter of the bill.  But, it quickly turned into a cruel, race-baiting tirade as Johnson charged that the names of slaves were being omitted from the cenotaph.

Johnson challenged Biedermann to name any slaves that were at the Alamo, but left off of the cenotaph.  Yet, Johnson couldn’t name any, himself.

This is Johnson’s second term as a state representative.  He filled the seat of longtime Houston rep Sylvester Turner that successfully ran for mayor of Houston in 2015.

National big corporate media tends to report and focus on the total number of apprehensions of United States illegal border crossings.  The vast majority of illegal border crossings obviously occur on the international border with Mexico.

The vast majority of illegal border crossings of the international border with Mexico occur through the five border regions of Texas.  For years, has repeatedly reported on the invasion numbers for Texas that have been frightening.

In just days, the border apprehension numbers for the month of March are expected to be reported.  Big media pundits, and actual border enforcement officials, are predicting that total reported apprehensions will exceed 100,000.  The real questions will be: how many will have crossed illegally into Texas?

So far, for fiscal year2019, 180,988 total apprehensions have been reported by United States Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.  These are the apprehension numbers for just the five border regions of Texas: Big Bend, Del Rio, El Paso, Laredo, and Rio Grande Valley (RGV).

The current apprehension numbers cover the time period of October 1, 2018 through February 28, 2019.  The first five months of the fiscal year is producing an average of 36,198 apprehensions per month on the Texas border. If this pace is maintained, Texans could expect total apprehensions in the state for FY2019 could reach or exceed 434,000.

To get closer to the actual number of illegal border crossings at any point in time for Texas, what border patrol calls “got-aways” must be considered.  In a June 27, 2018 interview on Fox News, Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council said, “We don’t know exactly the number that get by.  But, we do have an estimation. Border patrol agents go out and we count what we call ‘got-aways’. Unfortunately, if you look at it, border patrol agents will tell you that we’re probably 50 to 60 percent effective. So, between 40 and 50 percent of those people that cross the border illegally are getting away from us. So, we arrest 50,000, but 50,000 are getting by.”

This 2017 Washington Post article on DHS toughening its approach, also refers to “got-aways”.

Considering “got-aways” the 180,988 total apprehensions of illegal invaders in Texas so far this fiscal year must me elevated to an estimated 361,976. Considering “got-aways”, the estimated number of illegal border crossings into Texas for fiscal year 2018 exceeded 500,000.  At the current five-month pace of apprehensions for fiscal year 2019, Texas is tracking to endure a tsunami of invaders from south of the border at a number approximating 800,000+.

RERcontributor Tracy Shannon has been leading the charge to stop the performances of Drag Queen Story Time at branches of the Houston Public Library.  Shannon has been leading the journalistic investigation for the activist group MassResistance-Houston, and

The March 19th announcement of the organizers of Drag Queen Story Time, has a few caveats included.  Shannon points out that while the organizers may be raising the white flag of surrender, the administration of the Houston Public Library, and Office of Mayor Sylvestor Turner have no intention of letting DQST die.

Shannon discusses that within the homosexual community, a fiery debate has broken out over the DQST controversy.  There are supporters of the neo-morality movement that have expressed regret over DQST, the discovery that a convicted pedophile was discovered as a participant, and believe these types of programs actually set the movement back.

Shannon is digging deeper into the function of the American Library Association in the creation and promotion of such programs like Drag Queen Story Time.  And, she’s working on a story about a library that has four separate drag queen initiatives within its services.

On March 19, the organizers of Houston Public Library’s (HPL) controversial Drag Queen Story Time (DQST) announced that they were leaving their positions and cancelling future scheduled events. In a statement published on, the organizers say they came to their decision to resign after the news broke that one of their story time performers was a convicted child sex offender.

Albert Alonso Garza, a.k.a. Nikki Salazar, a.k.a. Tatiana Mala-Ninã, was convicted in 2009 of aggravated assault of a child.  Garza’s victim was an eight-year-old boy.  Garza performs under the stage name Tatiana Mala-Ninã (Tatiana “Bad Girl”), and publically uses the name Nikki Salazar because of being in gender transition since 2017.

MassResistance-Houston led the investigation into DQST, and has been the prominent organization protesting the HPL’s endorsed program.  RERcontributor Tracy Shannon of MassResistance-Houston, and first broke the story on Thursday, March 14.

In their published statement the organizers, Trent Lira and Devin Will, blame the scandal on the Houston Public Library not completing background checks, as required, on all library volunteers.  In their statement on the scandal, HPL apologized for the “oversight”.  Yet, Garza was a featured performer at the first Drag Queen Story Time, and performed at two more, subsequently.  Lira and Will say that Garza has not performed at DQST since HPL started conducting background checks.

The primary location of the DQST, a monthly event since September of 2017, was Freed-Montrose Branch of HPL.  To avoid protestors, HPL and the organizers briefly moved the story times to Kindred Church in Montrose – a congregation that promotes the neo-morality agenda.  HPL continued to participate by showing up with library staff and resources.

Lira and Will say they have decided to step down and cancel future story time events to protect the lives of their friends and the performers.  Lira and Will claim that they have received threats of violence since the breaking of the news and the following national attention.

Interviewed the way only RER can do, RERcontributor Tracy Shannon provides a detailed report on how the now-infamous convicted pedophile participating in Drag Queen Story Time at the Houston Public Library was tracked down.

As RER first reported, It was a twisted thread of multiple aliases that had to be unraveled through social media posts.  Ultimately, the key in discovering the true identity of Albert Alfonso Garza, were the social media posts of an apparently supportive mother.

The primary venue for Drag Queen Story Time in Houston is the Freed-Montrose Branch of the Houston Public Library.

In this video, Shannon explains how advancing the neo-morality movement has become a primary focus of the American Library Association, along the social justice agenda, and moving away from an emphasis on literacy.

Shannon reports that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has order Mayor Sylvester Turner and the Director of Houston Public Library to turn over all documents requested from an Texas Opens Records Request relating to Drag Queen Story Time.  The mayor and the Houston Public have refused to comply with the law and submit the documents to the MassResitance Houston – the prime organization opposing DQST.

Houston Public Library holds ultimate responsibility for not following its policy of completing a background check on all library volunteers.  They have acknowledged so in a public statement.

One of the greatest fears of parents and opponents of the neo-morality movement has become a reality in Houston, Texas.

A convicted child sex offender, Albert Alfonso Garza a.k.a. Nikki Salazar a.k.a. Tatiana Mala-Niña, 32 years old from Houston, has been identified as a featured performer at Houston Public Library’s monthly Drag Queen Storytime (DQST) for children.

Garza was convicted in Texas in 2009 of aggravated sexual assault of a child.  The victim was an eight-year-old boy.  The Texas Public Sex Offender Registry records that the sentence was five years of probation and community supervision.  He must remain in the registry for his lifetime.

Garza has performed for DQST at the Houston Public Library on September 30, 2017, June 30, 2018, and September 29, 2018.

Until recently, when it has been held at the Kindred Church in Montrose, DQST has been conducted at the Houston Public Library’s Freed-Montrose branch.  The Montrose section of Houston is the hub of the neo-morality movement for the city, and some would argue, for Texas. was first informed of the facts of the story on Thursday, March 14, 2019 when RERcontributor Tracy Shannon briefed Apostle Claver Kamau-Imani, RER’s CEO.  Apostle Claver broke the story during his video and audio streaming program at 12 p.m. that day.

Tracy Shannon, a founding member of MassResistance – an activist group dedicated to opposing the neo-morality movement in Houston – appeared on Apostle Claver’s program on Friday, March 15, 2019, to reveal and discuss all the evidence that MassResistance was able to uncover during their investigation of the participants in DQST and its facilitators.  Shannon, MassResistance, and RER have been covering the story since September of 2018 when DQST announced the celebration of the one-year anniversary.

The investigation of MassResistance was primarily the exercise of following a twisted thread of leads available through social media postings. The first step was to do simple searches for the performing drag queens by their stage names.  Two huge hits came up on the advertised DQST performers, Blackberri and Tatiana Mala-Niña (Tatiana Bad-Girl).

Reporting on DQST, stated, “The inaugural reading starred the city’s favorite bearded lady, Blackberri, and beloved glamour queen, Tatiana Mala-Niña, who delighted the crowd with their interactive, fun approach to engaging kids.”

More on Blackberri later in this article…

The convicted pedophile, Albert Alfonso Garza, has several social media pages with his various aliases.  MassResistance found Tatiana Mala-Niña’s Facebook page, first.  Garza, as Tatiana Mala-Niña, posted a birthday wish to his mother and “tagged” her on the post.  “Mother” Garza became the key that unlocked the mystery.

Tatiana Mala-Nina posted this pic wishing Tatiana’s mom a happy birthday. A look at the mom’s profile reveals Nikki Salazar is Tatiana.

MassResistance visited “Mother” Garza’s page and found some very interesting photos.  She has a habit of “tagging” her photos with those that are appearing in the photos.  She tagged photos and posts with the name Nikki Salazar, but the Nikki is a male that looks identical to the photo posted on the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Sex Offender Registry for Albert Alfonso Garza.

The mom tagged her son as Nikki in this picture.
Nikki Salazar is tagged in pics as the son of “Mother” Garza

The next obvious step was to click on the link to Nikki Salazar’s Facebook page.  As the spelling would indicate, along with the photos posted, it appeared that Nikki is a female.  Along with the page under the name Tatiana Mala-Niña, that made two separate Facebook profiles for Garza.

Albert Alfonso Garza’s a.k.a. Nikki Salazar Facebook Profile Page

“Mother” Garza ultimately provided the concrete evidence that Albert is Nikki is Tatitiana.  She made a Facebook photo post on June 15, 2014 in which she referred to the male in the picture as “Albert”.  That provided MassResistance with a male first name to go along with “Mother’s” last name.

“Mother” Garza identified the male in the picture as “Albert”.

Using such markers as date of birth, and address, MassResistance did a general search of the Texas Department of Public Safety’s data base, and Garza’s name got a hit.

With the name Albert Garza now known to them, MassResistance was then able to discover other photos of Garza prior to becoming a transgender.

On the Nikki Salazar Facebook page, Garza describes himself as a transgender female that has been transitioning since May, 2017, a showgirl, and YouTube personality.  Apparently, Garza is, or has, engaged facial feminizing surgery, and hormone therapy to change his appearance.

Garza lays out the facts…

Perhaps the most convincing evidence that Garza, Salazar, and “Bad Girl” are one-in-the-same, a featured Facebook photo of Nikki Salazar is the exact same photo being displayed on the Instagram profile of Tatiana Mala-Niña.

This Facebook feature photo of Garza under the name Nikki Salazar… the same photo that can found on the
Tatiana Mala-Niña Instagram profile.

How did MassResistance find the Instagram account of Garza?  A musical duo known as the Space Kiddettes is connected with DQST.  In an Instagram post announcing the celebration of one-year anniversary of DQST and featured performers, “Bad Girls” Instagram handle was listed right next to Blackberri’s.

Space Kiddettes promoting Drag Queen Story Time

In this video from MassResistance, Blackberri is the face and voice of DQST as part of an approving report from Houston television station KHOU Channel 11, the CBS affiliate.  The KHOU reporter ends the package by saying, “You have to start them young, right?”

The faces of the attending children and parents can clearly be seen. Most disturbing is the footage of Blackberri gyrating his buttocks in the faces of the children and asking them to join him.  While the performers of DQST would like to present a front of being caring advocates for children, a screening of their social media posts shows an unfortunate, very predictable lifestyle for super star drag queens.
