Bad news for Keffer and Geren

Heading into 2016 Representatives Charlie Geren and Jim Keffer are getting closer to not being members of the Texas House. Keffer is in worse shape than Geren and certainly has no claim to being in a strong position headed into 2016. It is for this reason the two highly-ranked members have received optimistic reporting from court journalists.

State Rep. Joe Pickett, chairman of House Transportation Committee, kicked Rep. Jonathan Stickland out of his committee Thursday night.
