Hezbollah in Texas? Learn about the extremely sophisticated Hezbollah militia and  their decades long infiltration into the US and Texas from expert Dr. Hamid Kantara. They have one mission: to destroy America.  The Arabs must understand that Israel is merely a battalion of the American army, and that the United States is the principal enemy.”- Hassan Nasrallah, Radio Nur, January 26, 2003.

Killing is our habit.

Our dignity which is martyrdom, comes from God.

Heidi had two guests in-studio:  Crystal Laramore of Dam Good Times Publications and Michelle Hatmaker, candidate for Galveston County Judge. They discussed the recent developments surrounding a Republican threat to local League City businesses for corrupted political reasons.  They have invited everyone to rally to support The Arms Room, the most recent target of Establishment harassment.

February 26, 2014

It’s GOTV week!  Heidi interviewed state-wide candidate for Railroad Commission, Ryan Sitton.  His experience is unparalleled and his ideas and commitment to the mission of the Railroad Commission (which regulates the oil and gas industry) is unmatched.  Exciting interview!
In the second hour, Heidi exposed the ridiculousness of the dueling Hilderbran and Hegar campaigns; and the litigation threats from the Rep. Jim Keffer campaign, if anyone exposed his voting record!

Ashby Bridges, new candidate for City Council in Andrew, Texas, along with three other members of Come and Take It (CATI) are stepping up for public service. These liberty-minded activists are ramping up local campaigns – a really great sign for the liberty movement in Texas!

Sid Miller, candidate for Ag Commissioner of Texas, was interviewed in the second half-hour.  Tough questions from listeners (including a discussion of hemp production)!  We’ll have to agree to disagree with Sid on that one. 😉

February 24, 2014

Grab the popcorn!  There have been further developments in the amnesty scandal swirling around Dan Patrick, as a letter has been physically produced from Mexico.

Polls, early voter turnout, and much more came under scrutiny in the second hour, including the revelation that members of the MOA (Muslims of the Americas) have infiltrated Texas law enforcement!

February 21, 2014

In the first hour, Heidi presented Part 2 of Shari’a and Islamism in Texas, with co-host David Heckert.
In the second hour, Heidi revealed the latest developments in the pay-for-play scandals.  First, Ted Cruz has unknowingly endorsed the incumbent Supreme Court justices that have illegally donated to YCT.  Second, a legitimate question needs to be asked of Senator Dan Patrick: is he profiting through his radio station KSEV on the pay-for-play operation headed by his own campaign consultant Allen Blakemore and ally Steve Hotze?

Breaking news in the Lt Governor’s race:  Jerry Patterson has accused Dan Patrick of hypocrisy for knowingly hiring illegal aliens in his businesses. In the second hour, Heidi discussed the latest criticism from grassroots leadership of Ken Paxton, questioning his self-proclaimed “courage.”  Furthermore, both Smitherman and Paxton have paid for play in various mailers.
Heidi has not yet voted in the Primary and continues to withhold judgment on the Attorney General’s race as more info continues to pour out from independent organizations and both campaigns vying for the conservative vote.

February 17, 2014

Heidi discussed the state of affairs at the Texas Supreme Court, and interviewed a challenger to the incumbency, Judge Sharon McCally.  What an insightful interview with a woman of principle who has been shunned by her own Party for having the audacity to challenge a politically-appointed incumbent!  Judge McCally also brought great insights to the Supreme Court that all Texans must consider before casting their vote in the Primary.

Glenn Hegar failed to disclose his personal financial status, as required by Texas Election law, and is now having to amend his disclosures. Hegar continuously fails to hold himself to the same standards he says he espouses – honesty, transparency, accountability.  He cannot be trusted as the CFO of Texas!

February 12, 2014

As pay-to-play goes viral, precinct chairs in Harris County are pushing back and calling the Republican Party to account on playing the game and skewing election results.  They passed a resolution condemning the practice and calling for a party-wide rejection of such practices now and in the future.
Ted Cruz will fight the inevitable debt ceiling raise…good luck with that, Mr. Senator.  It’s now just a matter of how fast the train of the US economy speeds over the cliff – the engine is already over and the cars are following at increasing speed.   Texas (the caboose engine) cannot save the country if we cannot even save ourselves. Uncouple Texas from the doomed train of the US economy!

February 11, 2014

Heidi emphasized the need to separate border security from illegal immigration reform.  Any reform measures that involve guest worker programs, visas, or other political gambits do not belong anywhere near a serious-minded solution to our border security problems and the spillover violence infecting our communities.

February 10, 2014

If any Texas is looking for salvation in a single national figure or candidate, you’re looking for liberty in all the wrong places!  Heidi commented on the recent visit of Senator Rand Paul to appeal to conservative activists in Texas.

Heidi took the opportunity to inform Paul’s staff of the very real war-time conditions on Texas’ international border, and insist that he quit talking about “unlimited work visas” when responding to questions about BORDER SECURITY!

February 7, 2014

David Jennings, of BigJollyPolitics.com, explained his role in uncovering more evidence of pay-to-play shenanigans, to include Young Conservatives of Texas! Must hear!

In the second hour, Heidi discussed how incumbent Supreme Court Justices Hecht, Brown, and Johnson made donations to YCT and have been called to account for the illegality. Furthermore, it’s been revealed by that Empower Texans circumvented their own process to endorse the incumbent Justices without any vetting!  These questionable endorsement activities and more are called to account.

February 6, 2014

Heidi calls patriots to action to attend forums, debates, and town halls to challenge the incumbents and challengers on the issues. Get them on the record!

In the second hour, Heidi revealed how pay-to-play is wildly proliferating across the state and badly skewing the election process!  Candidates are shaken down by players in the plutocracy who make monetary demands – candidates pay for endorsements by competing groups.  Do not make the mistake of thinking those groups represent issues or principles – because they don’t!  It’s all about buying the endorsements.  Heidi names names and the mind-boggling amounts of money changing hands.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz goes up against US Attorney General in demanding a special investigator for the abuse of power wielded by the IRS and the DoJ against Texas-based True the Vote and Tea Parties across the country.

How much of your information is available to the NSA?  It’s much more than you think.

AG Greg Abbott has unveiled his third policy initiative – this one on border security – pledging to double current spending from $150 mil to $300 mil.

Lastly, it was revealed that Glenn Hegar, candidate for Comptroller lied to Heidi when he stated emphatically that he had not given any money to Empower Texans and/or YCT.  In fact, he gave $7000 to YCT.

February 4, 2014

After months of equal opportunity criticism of the Lt Governor’s candidates, Heidi has *finally* discovered her deciding factor through due diligence.  It’s been a long time in coming and this was a decision not undertaken lightly. Heidi’s listeners know how deeply and seriously she has been agonizing over this race.

Heidi announced her committed and enthusiastic endorsement for Lieutenant Governor.  She has joined the Border Defenders Coalition for Todd Staples for Lt. Governor.

Also, Heidi continued her coverage of the Comptroller’s debate from last week – to include audio of her personal questioning of Glen Hegar after the debate.

February 3, 2014

Liberty activists must relearn the language of self-governance in order to set the brushfires of liberty in people’s mind.  The Tarrant County “Candidate Fair” was not exactly very fair, especially to the un-endorsed grassroots candidates who attended.

Heidi started her vehement commentary on the Comptroller candidates’ debate from last week and played audio – to be continued tomorrow.

Gov Perry says that Texas is taking steps toward decriminalizing drugs.  Did you know that?  How does the communist agenda play into the conversation?

Wendy Davis supporters demand that Greg Abbott “prove” he is actually a parapalegic, and a NYPost editorial claims Davis’ political career is over because she left her kids behind to pursue her own fortunes.  Remember, Wendy says she’s all about the children.  Really?

January 24, 2014

Heidi interviewed Michael Keoughan of Come and Take It – Midland/Odessa who was unlawfully arrested in Andrews, TX.

The Wendy Davis campaign has been busily attacking Greg Abbott for her own
lies about her background by saying he would never understand the struggle Texans face or how to overcome challenges.  This week Project Veritas released video of Wendy Davis supporters who are well aware of Abbott’s disability and have made it a regular topic  of ridicule.

January 23, 2014

In defiance of pressure from Sec of State John Kerry and Mexican diplomats, Texas executed cop-killer Edgar Tamayo last night.  Good riddance. How about Mexican politicians try and deal with the violence and mayhem plaguing their own country before they come to Texas and try and tell us how to enforce the law?!

Wendy Davis, to Heidi’s amusement, has been hoist by her own petard, as her “compelling” life story collapses under the weight of media scrutiny.  Even journalists in the tank for Abortion Barbie have had to reluctantly admit her life story doesn’t hold water.  Grab the popcorn!

How is Scott Turner’s bid for Speaker of the Texas House impacting the primaries?

January 22, 2014

Heidi’s guest, Maria Espinoza-Lyng of The Remembrance Project, revealed the heartbreak and suffering of the human cost of unchecked illegal immigration – lives stolen by illegal aliens who should not be here in the country.  It is a tragedy of unprecedented proportions that does not receive the attention required to move our politicians to action.  How can they remain impassive and politically correct in the face of such suffering?!

In the second hour, Heidi completed her commentary on the public meeting of the Houston-Galveston Area Council  concerning their pending decision to introduce and comply with Agenda 21 initiatives through a federally granted planning document called Our Region 2040.

League City passed a Resolution in opposition to the PUC’s proposal to re-regulate Texas’ energy-only competitive market to a corporate welfare capacity market.  The Resolution template and research are available for public use at www.heidifortexas.com

Heidi’s guest today was Terri Hall of TexasTURF and they discussed TxDoT’s addiction to toll roads and San Antonio’s ginormous mobility plan. Worse yet, our legislators and un-elected bureaucrats are colluding on a fascistic money grab for transportation projects that amounts to a double, triple, and even quadruple tax!  It’s all about behavior modification through confiscatory taxation! Outrageous!

January 14, 2014

The progression of statistics from 2009-2013 prove that progressives (of both parties) have had much more successful legislative sessions than conservatives. The math proves out the statement by Rep. Scott Turner “It’s difficult to pass even good common sense legislation. The biggest concern, and there are lots of concerns, is how hard you have to fight for conservative principles, even within the GOP.”

So while the state of Texas is red, the Legislature is purple under the leadership of Speaker Joe Straus and Lt. Governor David Dewhurst.  The numbers don’t lie. They are not governing by the will of the people, they are cutting deals with Democrats and PACs and lobbyists to cement their grip on power in Austin. When the politicians play, the People of Texas lose.

Heidi points out the dismal record of Rep Jim Keffer (R-Granbury) as a case in point, after he entreated ERCOT to not donate to any candidate challenger who would not sell out to corporate interests.

January 13, 2014

Scott Turner has declared his campaign for Speaker of the Texas House. Heidi discussed the background of the past Speaker Showdowns and how the rise of ‘Scotty T’ impacts what is shaping up to be Speaker Showdown III.

There is such a CLEAR DIVIDE now in the House, and the Texas Lege is at a crossroads to decide what kind of future they wish for Texas – the Texas plutocracy status quo of cronyism and retributionist power abuses or a new direction focused on liberty and a higher CALL TO EXCELLENCE in all areas.

The internal politicking of the Lege is not for the reps alone because it directly impacts all of us. The politicians don’t want to hear it, but we DO have a voice. And we can change nothing if we don’t exercise it. It’s up to us to turn the government of Texas back into the hands of the People, where it belongs by natural right and guaranteed by our Constitution.

So, who is Scott Turner? Find out in this program.

Are our local Texan governments aware or asleep?  Your business, your property rights, your lifestyle, your personal freedom is at stake. This is crucial information for every Texan!  Agenda 21 acts like, feels like, and IS…oppression.

What standards should you be applying to Texas candidates?  Well, the Covenant With Texas provides 10 principles to measure them by.  And finally, Heidi related one of her favorite stories of Davy Crockett – “Not Yours To Give”.

The US Congress has chosen to protect fraudulent tax credits to illegal aliens and instead cut the retirement and disability benefits EARNED by our military veterans.  This is downright EVIL.  How much more evidence do Texans require before they realize we MUST cut off the gangrene and heal Texas with LIBERTY?!

Heidi interviewed David Watts, candidate for Land Commissioner.  This was not a “campaign” interview.  In addition to educating us on the four main functions of the General Land Office (what does it matter to regular Texans and why should we care?), David discussed with Heidi the issues important to Texans – like the Alamo, the UN, Agenda 21, border security, the Texas Constitution, and most importantly, self-governance and Texas independence.  David Watts said it is time to quit playing defense and we must go on offense!

In the second hour, Heidi played audio of a Congressional hearing noting the rise of the uber-presidency and the subsequent destabilization and transformation of our government and society. “Once a federal government is no longer constrained by rule of law, the people will determine that neither are they” – and armed revolt is inevitable.

As part of the South Texas Campaign, more than 100 Border Patrol agents are in the Rio Grande Valley to help address the growing number of drug and human smuggling cases in the area.

115 agents were brought into the RGV sector nearly one month ago to increase security at the border as the drug trafficking and human smuggling numbers continue to climb.

“To date we’ve seen about 122,000 apprehensions in the Rio Grande Valley area,” said Deputy Chief Patrol Agent Raul Ortiz.  “We have almost 400 thousand pounds of marijuana seized.”

Immigration traffic in the Valley continues to rise.  This afternoon alone, there were about 150 undocumented people found in immigrant stash houses in the upper Valley.  Although it may seem like a large number, that’s an average amount per day, according to Border Patrol officials.

Most of the immigrants are from Central American countries–75% of undocumented individuals come from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and other Central American countries.

The reinforced man power is being applied in key areas to limit the amount of human smuggling.

“We’re really focused on the targeting,” explained Ortiz.  “We’re really trying to go after the smugglers, the coordinators, the folks that are really facilitating the smuggling activity out here.  That’s our focus.”

Many of the agents are from duty stations in Arizona, California, and other parts of Texas.  The agents are on 35-day cycles and can either go back to their previous station or continue working in the RGV sector.  While some will return to their original stations, additional agents will be rotating in to take their place.

“We do plan to bring on additional agents,” Ortiz said.  “In fact, we entered 28 new agents last week on duty, and so our plan is to certainly increase the staffing commensurate with the threat level down here.”

The additional rotation of agents is funded until the end of the fiscal year, which ends in September.

Colorado connection to Trans Texas Corridor project approved

By Jon Murray

A controversial proposal to remake Interstate 70 through northeast Denver won cautious support Monday from the City Council.

The $1.8 billion project would lower the freeway below ground and add a landscaped, 800-foot cap to reconnect the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. It also would widen I-70 to 10 lanes. But some aspects still are in flux.

That uncertainty, and a desire for more public input, gave some council members pause in the 10-3 vote in favor of the council’s proclamation. Debbie Ortega, Paul Lopez and Susan Shepherd voted no.

Earlier, Ortega’s request to delay the vote a week — to make time for a new public hearing, as urged by several sign-holders — failed 7-6.

Though the proclamation was symbolic, the Colorado Department of Transportation sought it to demonstrate to potential federal-funders that local support is rock-solid.

The council urged CDOT to improve neighborhood connections even more and reduce the larger freeway’s impact as much as possible.

Councilwoman Judy Montero said the project had the potential to start righting the havoc wrought decades ago by the I-70 viaduct.

“Because of its current state,” she said, “the viaduct is unsafe, which makes this current reconstruction mandatory.”

But last week, a council committee heard an earful against the project, and a litany of opponents sent e-mails to the council. Some argue the project won’t reconnect the area enough. Denver Auditor Dennis Gallagher also has weighed in to say a 10-lane freeway would be an unacceptable imposition on northeast Denver.

Lopez said door-to-door conversations buttressed his belief that CDOT and the city should move I-70 elsewhere. CDOT has rejected the costly alternative of realigning I-70 by beefing up Interstate 270 to the north.

The project would reconstruct I-70 between Brighton Boulevard and Tower Road, adding two toll lanes in each direction to three existing lanes.

Conservative Texas Female Leaders Call on Dewhurst to Apologize

Nowhere in the nation is the conservative movement stronger than in Texas, and some of the most politically informed leaders of the “Texas Liberty Movement” are women. Energized from big wins across the state in the March 4th Republican Primary, these pro-family, pro-liberty, pro-free market conservative women are a diverse group of mothers, professionals, business-owners, bloggers, and leaders of some of the largest conservative organizations and TEA parties in Texas. These women do not agree on every issue, but they do agree on one thing – David Dewhurst has gone too far. Today, several of these conservative female leaders released a joint statement calling on Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst to apologize to women, Hispanics, and legal immigrants for exploiting them in his cheap, un-statesmanlike shot at the top vote getter in the Republican primary race for lieutenant governor – Senator Dan Patrick.

Dewhurst raised the ire of these conservative women because of highly offensive comments he made when speaking to the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce luncheon last Thursday (April 17). [Source: Quorum Report Daily Buzz] Speaking in Spanish and English, Dewhurst attacked Patrick, “My opponent is anti-immigrant, anti-Hispanic, and anti-woman, and I’m not any of those things.”

Sonja Harris, TexasGOPvote.com blogger and long-time Republican activist: “I was invited to attend the debate with Senator Dan Patrick and San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro, and Dan Patrick made it very clear that he welcomes legal immigrants and believes we have a responsibility to secure the border for safety and that the exploitation of the people coming across the border is not right. He favors a guest worker program and made it clear that deportation is out of the question. My observation of Dan Patrick is that he is not anti-immigrant, anti-Hispanic, nor is he anti-woman.”

Michelle Smith, a pro-life, pro-family state leader of the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization: “There is absolutely no justification for such an exploitative attack on Dan Patrick. For Mr. Dewhurst to say Sen. Patrick is anti-woman is just wrong. I’ve known Dan Patrick for many years. He is deeply pro-family, pro-life, and very inclusive of women when it comes to discussing legislation and public policy.”

University of Houston-Downtown to Pursue Gender-Neutral Restrooms

In an effort to score some politically correct points from the LGBT community, the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) will soon feature a gender-neutral bathroom on their campus, according to an article from the Houston Press.

The campus will be one of the first in America to feature a gender-neutral bathroom, although proposals to build the facilities have already been made at several other publicly-funded educational institutions across the country.

According to the article, the lack of gender-neutral bathrooms has been a huge problem for the University of Houston. Many transgendered students claim the lack of a facilities catering to their needs has forced them to either not got to the bathroom while at school or go off campus to find a restroom. An Internet search found no facilities around the campus that claim to have a gender-neutral bathroom.

According to Dr. John Hudson, Director of the Center for Student Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at UHD, the school realized it was not meeting the toilet needs of transgendered students back in 2012. UHD President William V. Flores formed the Diversity and Equity Advisory Council and began efforts to build the bathroom.

Meanwhile, the Houston Chronicle is reporting that two UH professors have been accused of lying to get research grants. The professors names are Abdelhak Bensaoula, 57, and David Starikov, 58, both professors in the physics department. The two face one count of conspiracy, seven counts of making false statements and 21 counts of wire fraud, all in connection with the federal Small Business Innovation Research program. They surrendered to authorities on Monday morning.

Still no word yet on whether the two professors plan on using the gender-neutral bathroom.

Texas Boy Scouts: BLM Eyeing Our Camp (Video)

WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS–With the focus on the possible loss of property held for generations of ranchland owners in north Texas, others who might also be affected by the BLM’s Red River Land Grab could be overlooked. During a meeting with Texas State Senator Craig Estes (R-Wichita Falls), Breitbart Texas learned that land owned by the Northwest Texas Council of the Boy Scouts of America is also reportedly being targeted by the BLM land management study. Boy Scout Council President, Wayne Mansur, sat down with Breitbart Texas to explain what his organization and the young people he serves are facing.

The Boy Scouts own a 400 acre tract of land along the Red River known as Camp Perkins. Mansur has learned that 170 acres of the land is now included in the BLM’s land management study and could be lost to their use.

“If they took what we call our field area,” Mansur explained, “the lower portion of our camp, it would shut it down.”

“That is our outdoor classroom,” Mansur continued. “That’s where we take young boys to teach them about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).”

Part of the land is used for firearms training.  But more than just shooting guns, Mansur explained how they use the activity to each the boys about the science and technology involve in firearms.

“If the BLM were to shut that down and retake that land that they claim, for whatever reason, belongs to them, we would have to shut down the camp,” Mansur stated. “We would have to look for a camp somewhere else.  And, there is no better place to have a camp than where we have it now, and have had it since about 1924.”

“If the federal government thinks they own this,” Mansur said, “I wish they would have told us that back in 1924.”  Continue reading here (+ video).

Texas offers Toyota $40M for HQ move

The state of Texas has offered Toyota $40 million as the automaker begins moving its U.S. headquarters from California to suburban Dallas.

Gov. Rick Perry announced Monday that Toyota will invest more than $300 million in a facility in Plano that will house nearly 4,000 employees. They will come from Toyota’s sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing and finance divisions currently spread around the country.

Perry has made two visits to California since last year, trying to convince top employers there to move to Texas.

In a statement, he said Texas’ low taxes and relaxed regulations can help Toyota thrive.

The state incentives for Toyota come from the Texas Enterprise Fund.

A Perry signature initiative funded by taxpayers, the fund has been used to persuade firms to expand in Texas since 2003.

Woman hit during drive-by shooting in southeast Houston

by Marcelino Benito

A woman was taken to the hospital in stable condition after being struck by a bullet during a drive-by shooting Saturday night in southeast Houston.

Police said it happened around 9:30 p.m. near Minnesota Street and Regal Street.

“I was in shock, I’m still in shock,” said victim, Nora Arriaga.

Arriaga said she can’t forget what happened. It’s impossible to forget how close she came.

“I was thinking they were going to kill me,” said Arriaga.

She was visiting a friend and had stepped outside to smoke a cigarette. The chidren had just walked inside; their toys still in the front yard. There’s a church right next door.

“I see them with a gun, and suddenly they start shooting me,“ Arriaga said.

There were nine shots in just 20 seconds. The bullets tore through the wrought-iron door and the front door. Some bullet holes also inside the house. One bullet even shattered the oven.

The drive-by shooter struck Arriaga once in the leg. A second bullet grazed her left cheek leaving behind a bruise under her left eye.

“I’m thanking God I have an angel,” said Arriaga. “The paramedics said you’re lucky you have a little angel watching over you.”

Houston Police haven’t uncovered a motive, but the teenage boy who lives here said Nora was never the target.

“They’re looking for me,” said Rudy Anguiano. “They want me dead for sure.”

He blames gang violence in the southeast Houston neighborhood. So do his neighbors.

“Every weekend you hear gunshots you know,” said one neighbor who didn’t want to show his face on camera. “They don’t have the guts to fight hand in hand so they do drive-bys, and they hit an innocent person.”

And now that innocent woman lives in fear. It happened so fast. No one got a suspect description, so whoever did this is still out there.

“I’m scared for my safety and my kids safety,” said Arriaga. “I’m scared to go to the store in case they do something to my kids.”

If you have any information about this crime, you’re asked to call Houston Police or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
