DA: Tip leads to 4000 rounds of ammo, cartel smuggling station

Cameron County District Attorney Luis V. Saenz holds up one of two body armors seized Tuesday alongside packets of ammunition and marijuana.

 

Investigators with the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday seized more than 4,000 rounds of ammunition from an undisclosed location in Brownsville.

Authorities believe the ammunition was bound for Mexico.
