FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ribtect4, the premiere torso protection equipment for motorsports competitors, has drafted racing kart driver Apostle Claver T. Kamau-Imani to be a brand ambassador for the 2021 season. Kamau-Imani is the racing team leader of Claver Vitesse. He will be donning the Ribtect4 for all his on-track efforts in pursuit of the Houston city championships.
Kamau-Imani competed as a fully sponsored racing driver in junior open-wheel formula racing in the 1980s and 1990s. Now, 30 years later, he is making a comeback to competitive motorsports by entering the Greater Houston Racing Series (GHRS) with an eye to returning to auto racing in the near future.
Ribtect4’s CEO is Robby Mott, the legendary race kart driver based in Houston, Texas.
Kamau-Imani: “To be an unsolicited ambassador for such a prestigious brand is quite overwhelming. One of the most difficult things to achieve for aspiring drivers is the acquisition of sponsors. For a karting hero like Robby Mott, with his sterling reputation, to approach you about repping his product can only elevate a driver’s confidence because someone like Robby is demonstrating confidence in you.
“of course, the hope is that my fellow competitors will notice the perfection of Ribtect4’s design, the affordable price point, the attractive presentation and decide they want one, too.”
The 2021 Greater Houston Racing Series has a schedule of 18 events on the calendar meaning a potential of 36-plus races for the season when including heat races.
