FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The racing kart team Claver Vitesse and Jean Luc & Co, the cutting-edge online apparel ecommerce site, have accelerated their preparation efforts for the 2021 Greater Houston Racing Series. Jean Luc & Co will be the official apparel supplier for the startup Houston-based karting team.
Claver Vitesse team lead and driver is Apostle Claver T. Kamau-Imani. Kamau-Imani competed as a
fully sponsored racing driver in junior open-wheel formula racing series in the 1980s and 1990s. Now, 30 years later, he is making a comeback to competitive motorsports by entering the Houston city karting championships with an eye to returning to auto racing in the near future.
Kamau-Imani: “Motorsports sponsorship, especially this team and our quest, is a perfect move for Jean Luc & Co. The brand compels me to aspire to greatness – regardless of the odds. I believe the corporate culture of the company encourages one to acknowledge their life passions and pursue them. Excellence and achievement are expected with a spirit of humility.”
Jean Luc & Co will be pushing the envelope of racing apparel as Apostle Claver will be competing in actual Jean Luc & Co racing suits in 2021 – making the company the first new brand introduction to the sport of karting in years.
The 2021 Greater Houston Racing Series has a schedule of 18 events on the calendar meaning a potential of 36-plus races for the season when including heat races.
